Thousands of gardens across Britain bear an over-whelming abundance of fruit. So much is produced that a lot is discarded, left to rot and finally cleared away to the compost.
Fruitshare is about making the Nation's surplus garden-grown fruit available for others to eat, to cook and turn into their favourite summer puddings!
The idea is simple. If you have an abundance of fruit to share just register your details and your position will be added to the Fruitshare map. On registration you will be sent a pdf of the Fruitshare poster, which can be printed out and popped in your window to let everyone know you are taking part.
For those that would love the opportunity to make fruity pies from locally grown fruit simply click on the Fruitshare map and select your region.

Easy Peasy
Place your fruit in bags or tubs at your front door for visitors to help themselves.
